Click + Add Trip in the sidebar to create a trip — name, dates, color, and optional description.
Click a trip to open it. Drag the ⠿ handle to reorder trips in the sidebar.
Hover a trip and click ⋮ to rename, duplicate, move to a group, export, or delete it.
Use Expand All / Collapse All in the control bar to open or close all sections at once.
Deleted trips land in Recently Deleted at the bottom of the sidebar and can be restored.

Use + Add Section to add sections — flights, lodging, car rental, restaurants, activities, transport, events, budget, trip notes, destinations, and custom.
Each section comes pre-built with relevant fields. Click + Add Entry to add a record.
Click an entry's header to expand or collapse it. Rename its title by clicking the text.
Rename field labels by clicking them directly. Use + Field to add custom fields.
Drag the ⠿ handle on a field to reorder fields, or on a section to reorder sections.
Each entry has export and import buttons to save or load individual entries as .json files.
The Budget section automatically calculates a running total from all cost entries.

Use + Group to create a collapsible section group — great for organizing by day, city, or trip leg.
Groups can be nested inside other groups for multi-level itineraries.
Enable "Keep separate itinerary" on a group to give it its own itinerary view.
Drag any section into a group using its ⠿ handle — sections move freely between groups.

Click View Itinerary to see a chronological view of all entries that have dates or times.
Groups with "Keep separate itinerary" enabled show their own section in the main itinerary view.
Use View Group Itinerary on any group to see just that group's dated entries.

The Trip Destinations section tracks all places you're visiting — city, country, dates, and notes.
Click any destination to expand it and see travel resources: Maps, Hotels, TripAdvisor, Airbnb, and more.
Use 🔍 Explore in the top bar to look up any place and open all resource links at once.

Sidebar: Export Trips / Import Trips backs up or restores your full workspace as a .json file.
Trip header: export or import a single trip.
Section headers: export or import individual sections and groups.
Import supports Replace (overwrite) or Merge (add alongside existing data).

All data is stored locally in your browser — nothing is ever sent to a server.
Clearing your browser data will erase your trips. Export regularly to keep a backup.
Use ⚠ Reset RoamKit at the bottom of the sidebar to wipe everything and start fresh.
